Ironside is home to five different species of butterflies which include the Atala butterfly, the Zebra longwing, the Monarch butterfly, the Gulf fritillary and the Giant Swallowtail.

With the development of conscientious planning, landscaping and sustainable gardening, Ironside is now a certified wildlife habitat that comprises half a mile of biological corridor for pollinators, contributing also to the reforestation of new trees and plants needed for them to grow and thrive!
